Closing of Public Invitation (new funds)

The Investment Fund Management Company KB Publikum Invest AD Skopje, on 19.03.2011 published the first Public Invitation for buying shares in the open-end investment fund:

• KB Publikum – Bonds
• KB Publikum – Cash

which ended successfully. Within the legally prescribed period of 60 days, shares were registered and paid in amount of over 300.000,000 euro's for both funds, according to the average rate of the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia.

Better than foreign currency deposits
KB Publikum – Bonds is for individual and institutional investors who want to invest their assets in fixed income securities. By investing the assets in public and corporate bonds denominated in foreign currency, this fund offers the possibility for a higher return compared with foreign currency deposits. With this type of fund, the growth of the asset value is slower but continuous, while the fluctuations in the value of a single share are usually very low. One of the most important advantages is the liquidity of the invested assets and the possibility to withdraw them at any time without losing the realized returns, which is typical for the deposits when they are withdrawn before maturity. The fund is a great alternative for the protection from foreign currency risks. The fund provides a simple and easy access to the international financial markets for trading fixed income securities and it surpasses the legal limitations for foreign investments, as well as the limitation regarding the minimum amount needed for investing.

Better than a checking account
KB Publikum – Cash is for all investors who have a temporary excess of assets for an investment period of more than 3 days. The fund offers the possibility for a higher return compared with demand deposits, by investing the assets in short-term fixed income securities in the most creditworthy banks in the Republic of Macedonia. The fund releases its investors from the continuous search for the best short-term investment opportunities and allows for a more efficient and successful management of financial resources. The main goal of the fund is to strengthen the negotiating power of investors in relation to other financial institutions, and to allow for a maximum return on their assets. The risk associated with this fund practically does not because the biggest part of the Fund's assets is invested in banks of the Republic of Macedonia and in short-term fixed income securities. Considering the asset structure, the yield and liquidity, investors are offered a more competitive "hybrid demand deposit".
